AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
All been agreed - cant help but think this is a dodgy fight for AJ. Could be an upset here....

Wouldn’t surprise me if there was an upset

Don't know much about Miller.

The difference in height is astonishing though.

Whilst everyone wants to see AJ fight Wilder or Fury, this guy hasn't lost but yet calling him a chicken?

Personally it's clever from AJ, he's still very young. The two aforementioned are much more experienced so he's taking his time.

Miller's record is basically the same as Joshua's but I don't know who he has fought.

Bit of a curveball from AJ. Is he avoiding Wilder?

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
Wilder has already agreed to fight Fury again and from the sounds of it they couldn't come to terms with Whyte so he's now facing Povetkin.

Unless you want AJ to sit with his thumb up his ass for the net 6 months to a year he has to fight somebody.

Just not sure why he's chosen this fight to be the one in America, can see why he wants to stay over here though MSG holds just over 20K

Miller is a fat, plodding lump of lard.

easiest nights work AJ will have had in some time.

All these fights are dangerous because of the size and power of the fighters. I just hope that AJ still has the hunger and anger to do the job properly.

this is AJs golden ticket to being a star in the US, he won't mess it up.

Taking the lower purse now in order to achieve a bigger share of the massive purse from the fight with the winner of Fury/ Wilder? Maybe?

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
I believe Hearne also knows he'd struggle against Fury. AJ would batter Wilder who is in my opinion a shocking boxer - without his power he's absolutely nothing. Technically he's shit.

AJ would box his face off, there's no way he'd bottle that fight.

As mentioned Fury is the only person who would trouble AJ at present, however there's a number of decent young heavyweights coming through, there's Dubois, Makambu, some french bloke as well all undefeated.

AJ will jab his head off but he's still massively over hyped.

Shrewd move this, easy fight in front of a new audience that up until now haven't been interested in the tedious robot that is AJ. I expect he'll be all controversial I'm the build up too to try to sell what is basically a nothing fight to the yanks.

AJ is so dull he could be related to Oxsaw on here. When you've run out of paint to watch dry, watch an AJ fight to remind yourself just how much more excited in comparison you were before.

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
The only fighter I recognise on Miller's record is Gerald Washington (Retired after 8 rounds) Wilder knocked him out in the 5th.

If AJ uses his jab and reach advantage the only way he willl lose is if he gets complacecent.

No doubt the gobby Yank will give it the big un leading up to the fight.......AJ I am certain will just let his fists do the talking!

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
Saw an interview with Dillian Whyte a few weeks ago who's actually quite a funny character and he said then that the deal was more or less already done for AJ to fight Miller .... who Dillian called a 'useless fat pig'... His view was an easy nights work for AJ who he reckoned would batter the Big Baby , building up his name in America for the big money PPV against the winner of Wilder/Fury. Whyte said he was offered the AJ fight too but said AJ was demanding a pisstaking share of the purse , something like 80/20 with a contract clause for the fight that if he won then the rematch also gave the lions share of the purse again to AJ. I didn't used to like Dillian too much but he gives pretty open and honest interviews as the official number one challenger to both Wilder and AJ and contrasts with the spin that comes from both the Wilder and Joshua camps these days who obviously have been avoiding fighting each other in a 50/50 fight. I'm still leaning towards Joshua as the best heavyweight around but there are some good fights ahead in the heavyweight division these days and if you threw Whyte into the mix with Fury, Wilder and Joshua then there's some big pay days ahead over the next 18 months. With Hearn rubbing his hands of course.

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
I like Whyte, dangerous floater that nobody seems to want to fight. Usually entertains, the antidote to boring fucking AJ mincing around like a body builder in straight lines and talking nauseatingly about 'unity' and other such cobblers. The fucking CUNT.

Re: AJ v The Big Baby June 1st MSG
Hearn messed up by assuming Fury would get beat to Wilder.

Fury and Wilder are currently the big draws and their fight on paper is far better than the latest AJ cruise.

AJ has to fight both Wilder and Fury otherwise he will be seen as someone like Prince Naseem who always avoided anyone decent.

Well this should be a fairly simple test against a fat no hoper like Miller
